What Faculty are you
studying in at Monash
University?
Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and
Health Sciences.
Why did you choose Monash
and has it been a positive
experience?
I chose Monash University because
I knew they have an amazing care
with the students and also
interesting research about nutrition
and dietetics, which are my majors
in Brazil. It’s been a very positive
experience to me.
How have you found the
support from the Monash
Abroad Office and Monash
University?
I have found the support incredible.
All the Monash staff has been very
helpful and patient with me always
trying to make sure that I am having
the best Monash experience
possible.
My academic experience has been
challenging to me. I have to adapt
myself to many different study
aspects such as class
presentations, essays, lab reports
and so on. However, in the end of
the day all this change is making
me feel more capable of taking
risks and deal with them.
Describe your social
experience at Monash?
My social experience is one of the
best things about Monash. It is so
good to have the chance to meet
people from all around the world at
just one place. People are so open
and always ready to start a
conversation with you.

Why do you think studying
in Australia is beneficial to
your studies/career?
Be able to have an international
experience with some of the best
professionals in the world and also
to improve a second language, is
definitely beneficial to my career.
What do you like about
Melbourne/Victoria?
Everything! Melbourne has an
amazing multicultural environment,
which is always refreshing to part
of. Its sustainability is also
something that calls my attention.
What do you hope to do after
you graduate? How will your
study abroad experience
help you achieve that?
I’m planning to do a Masters
degree after my graduation.
This experience at Monash will
make me different from others and
will definitely improve my academic
experiences, which will be
evaluated during the selective
process.
