Why did you choose Monash
and has it been a positive
experience?
Studying at Monash has been an
amazing experience. When I
decided to come to Australia I had
no idea what I would have ahead of
me, however I can say it has been
better than I could ever imagine.
I have not only had incredible
support of the university but also
incredible labs, classes and
professors.
What do you like about
Melbourne/Victoria?
Describe your academic
experience at Monash?
Monash has opened my mind to
different cultures and different
ways of thinking. I have learned
how to think outside the box, and
see details I would never notice
before this experience. My labs and
practical classes have also been an
incredible experience. I had access
to all the incredible labs and
equipment I could ever imagine.
I honestly cannot think of another
word to describe my experience at
Monash other than simply amazing.

Describe your social
experience at Monash?
Studying and living on-campus at
Monash means interacting with
people of all different nationalities,
learning about their culture and
sharing your own experiences as
well. I wouldn’t trade this time I
spent here for anything. The
amount of international students
is huge! That really opens your
eyes to different realities than your
own. It has been an amazing
personal growth to learn so much
in so little time.
Why do you think studying
in Australia is beneficial to
your studies/career?
Studying in Australia is incredible
beneficial to my career because it
has thought me to perceive things
differently. In the globalised world
we have today, all companies and

industries seek international
experiences like this one, and
therefore it’s an incredible
addition to my academic
transcript. I now have ways of
seeing the world in a way that
someone who never had this kind
of experience does not see.

At this point, the only thing I am
absolutely sure I want to do after
graduating is continuing my
studies with a masters and a
Phd degree. My study abroad
experience will help me do that by
giving that boost I need in my
academic transcript to achieve
those goals.

What I like the most about
Melbourne is that you can find and
meet all sorts of different people
living here. There are also a lot
of plays, festivals and cultural
experiences to enjoy. It’s also easy
to go everywhere you want to with
public transportation, even though
it can get quite expensive.
