For lecturers, instructors, and faculty, minimum enrollments will be used to determine whether a course is
offered. For graduate courses, the minimum enrollment will be six students and for undergraduate courses
the minimum is twelve students. The enrollment minimum for cross-listed (combination
undergraduate/graduate) courses will be nine students. Enrollments will be determined at the time of the
university’s census date. For a low-enrollment course (five or fewer students) to be offered, both the
Department Chair and the Dean must sign off.
