FIRST – you are encouraged to fill out options for 8 classes, even if you have time in your schedule for two prep periods. The reason for
this is that we often run into conflicts at a senior level and would like to offer you the greatest number of courses. Please fill out options for 8 classes.
All grade 12 students will select at least ONE compulsory course in ENGLISH. Students may have other compulsory courses or group courses to
complete prior to graduation and should indicate those on the option sheet.
AFTER you have indicated all of the compulsory credits you need to take in grade 12 to meet the requirements of the OSSD, you are able to choose
elective courses. If you are not missing any compulsory credits from grade 9, 10 or 11, you will have 7 elective choices to make. You can choose
from the list of elective courses offered for grade 12 students, or you may choose a grade 9, 10 or 11 class from the course calendar.
NEXT, students are required to choose 3 ALTERNATE elective classes. We use these choices to help with timetabling should you have conflicts in
your original selection, or should a course not run. Please note that the requirement is that you ALSO complete your course selection online through
your myBluePrint Account. Please see instructions on the back of this page.
