Gage, a psychology major and distance runner on the BHSU cross country and track & field teams, passed away this summer. The McSpadden Fun Run begins at the Spearfish City Park parking lot across from the pavilion. Physical education program at BHSU receives national recognition The Black Hills State University physical education program was recently awarded continuing national recognition by the National Association of Sport and Physical Education by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
