The 30‐day preview window for students in next semester’s classes will begin December 11. It is important to note that this pertains only to accessing materials through D2L. Faculty should not make any assignments due prior to the first day of the term. The specific purpose for this access is to ease the startup process for students. Once the semester begins, the students can focus on the course itself, and not on resolving technical or procedural issues. Campuses are asked to monitor instructor compliance. However, instructors are not mandated to permit students early access. Two factors determine when a student can access a course in D2L: 1. The adjusted start date (December 11, 2015) has been reached Dec. 12 Commencement Check out these events and more on the Campus Calendar Yellow Jacket News MBB: Ongarato Earns RMAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors T&F: Yellow Jackets have Strong Debut MBB: Yellow Jackets Sting Lions for 98‐75 Victory WBB: Yellow Jackets Storm Past Lady Lions WBB: Thorn and Toms Each Register Career Highs in BHSU Victory https://mail.bhsu.edu/owa/#viewmodel=ReadMessageItem&ItemID=AAMkADE0MmIwZmNhLWQxNjItNDdlOS1iYzQ4LTA4YjU4MzI5ZDcxZABGAAAAAAAvu%2FZG3e59S4a1okAUW7Z8BwCr8RASKrfWRarIr… 2/5 12/8/2015 December 8 Campus eUpdate Shippy, Ryan 2. The course has been activated by the instructor The start dates of courses will automatically be changed in D2L to 30 days prior to the first day of the semester. Instructors control when students actually can access their courses by when they activate them. That being the case, student service offices (IT, registration, advising, etc.) will direct any student questions about early access to a course to the respective instructor. Please let Dr. Custer or Terry Hupp know if you have any questions. ‐‐‐Submitted by Terry Hupp ‐ 12‐8 Check out scores, upcoming games and other news at BHSU Athletics Students can win a GoPro Camera!
