Direct the paraprofessional therapy associate present in each group setting in specific expectations to make that treatment integration component effective. Assist recipient and/or caregivers to improve their decision making capacity, enhance coping and interpersonal skills and helps create the reduction of stress. Assist recipient and/or caregivers to develop insight and produce cognitive/behavioral changes necessary for the person’s day-to-day functioning. Create individual sessions, which are directed at meeting goal outlined in the recipient’s rehabilitation treatment plan. Provide and foster a supportive, caring environment for all recipients and/or caregivers. Complete regular, concise and complete progress notes for each session, each recipient and/or caregiver. Meet monthly with LMHP(s) for supervision. Communicate needs and/or problems with the LMHP(s) to allow for rapid problem-solving. Participate in training required by the agency for licensure. Provide the business office with all required documentation of personnel records. Document services provided in accordance with clinical standards. Enter progress notes into Clinical Advisor within 24 hours of seeing recipient with proper documentation and appropriate signatures. Prints all completed progress notes weekly. Enter recipient’s schedule into Clinical Advisor weekly. Regulates proper usage of Prior Authorization units for all recipients. Provide leadership and/or assistance in therapeutic groups. Attend all staff meetings. Attend meetings and/or trainings that will benefit Cognitive Institute Inc as requested by supervisor. (i.e. Magellan, community involvement, etc.) Return phone calls and/or emails promptly. Follow all safety rules. Obtains 20 training hours as required for a full time LBHP yearly. Actively participates in all evaluations conducted by Cognitive Institute Inc. Actively participates in crisis interventions. Has a positive attitude that is conducive to a stress-free atmosphere. Minimum Qualifications: • A Master of Social Work degree • • or A Master of Arts, Science of Education degree in a mental health related field (refer to the Glossary for a definition of a mental health related field); and A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of graduate level course work and/or practicum experience in applied intervention strategies/methods designed to address behavioral, emotional and mental disorders as a part of, or in addition to the master’s degree.
