DATA CAPTURE
The SIGMA LT control platform is exceptionally simple to use. To perform a
load test there are no pre-calculations
or timings required. A load test can
be started with a push of a few buttons using the 4.3" color touch screen
hand-held controller and left to run
on a number of load banks while the
operator stays with the controls. The
local control panel with digital toggle
switches provides simple and familiar
operation with full digital monitoring.
The SIGMA LT allows the load banks to
be networked from a single hand-held
controller. The SIGMA LT has the capabilities to increase and decrease load
on the individual load banks within the
string. By doing this the load banks can
simulate hot zones within a data center
to monitor how the HVAC systems react to temperature changes at specific
server rack locations.
After a load test is complete, data can be
transferred onto a USB drive to be later
analyzed and compared against previous load tests. This allows the operator
to create a load test database and allow
comparable load test analysis.
Series 2700 Load Bank
The Series 2700 load bank is rated at 100
kW at 480 VAC and 93.75 kW at 240 VAC,
3 phase, 60 Hz. Utilizing the leading technology of the SIGMA LT control platform,
the Series 2700 represents the new standard for compact portable load banks.

The local mode is manual control via
digital toggle switches. The local mode features full digital monitoring and individual
load steps with LED indications.
The remote control mode is via the
optional hand-held controller. It features a
4.3" color touch screen housed in a rugged
and easy to grip industrial grade enclosure.
Load selection can be the sum of the entire
load string (up to 25 load banks) or individual
units within that string. Extremely fast and
reliable CANbus communication protocol is
used in the SIGMA LT for networking. CANbus protocol reduces network sag which is
typically found in RS232 network load banks.
A USB port is provided for data download and
software updates.

A compact aluminized steel enclosure with
screened inlet and exhaust openings. Four
swivel casters provide mobility. Heavy duty
lifting handles are also provided.

Control Power
The load bank requires control power of 120
VAC, single phase, 60 Hz (line cord provided).
Cooling
The resistive elements are air cooled by four
high velocity muffin fans for quiet operation.
Safety Circuits
The Series 2700 Load Bank features main line
circuit fusing, wrong voltage protection (Dual
Voltage model only), and over temperature
protection.
