WHEREAS; Students receive an average grade once they retake a class. WHEREAS; The University of Colorado Boulder campus has grade forgiveness. WHEREAS; The Student Government Association seeks to assist students. THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY ENACTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO COLORADO SPRINGS LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL; HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATE ASSEMBLED THAT: Section 1: Grade forgiveness is defined as the replacement of a grade (instead of an averaging) once an individual retakes a class. Section 2: The original grade the student received is forgiven and replaced by the new grade. Section 3: Students have the opportunity to receive higher GPA’s with grade forgiveness.
