Water Safety
Remember to stay safe this summer while participating in any water related activities.
Water can intensify the sun’s rays so be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and stay
hydrated. When planning a boating trip, watch for other watercraft and swimmers
while entering, exiting and using the water. Consider the following tips when enjoying the
water this season.

Take a buddy with you

Supervise young children

Don’t swim in water that is too cold

Know your limits



Never turn your back to the ocean



Monitor speed and obey all signs

Watch for aquatic life on land and in the water



