PROFILE
Tim Callahan has an extensive background as P-12 public school educator. He has been a teacher of both primary
and intermediate grade students. For twenty five years he served as an elementary school principal. He brings a
wealth of practical experience to his role of instructor and site professor in the UCCS Teacher Education and
Licensure Program (TELP).
EDUCATION
University of Colorado, Boulder, 1981. Master of Arts in Educational Administration, Supervision and
Curriculum Development.
Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, 1977. Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, with minors in
Special Education and Mathematics.
Additional coursework and training, 70+ post-graduate college/inservice course hours in leadership,
organizational, group development, goal setting and measurement in a non-profit environment, Continuous Quality
Improvement, the Malcolm Baldridge Model of Organizational Excellence, professional development, personnel
management, supervision and evaluation.
TEACHING
Teachers touch the future. As an instructor and site professor at UCCS, it is my goal to prepare educators who have
the ability to promote the learning and achievement of all students in diverse classroom environments.

Association. Recognized by the Colorado Springs Arts, Business Education Consortium as an administrator who
effectively integrates art’s education throughout the curriculum.
