Hudson River Human Diversity Network
Working Mission:
To create a regionally cohesive network of organizations in order to maximize individual and collective
impact improving human diversity in nature, nature-based academic and research programs, and into
careers relating to nature, natural resources and their conservation.
Working Goals:
Organization level: Create an informal network of groups working on the spectrum of diversity
issues, which will increase communication, collaboration and coordination amongst the network
and create a geographic and temporal pipeline of opportunities for audiences served by network
partners.
Participant level: Create integrated opportunities for individuals from traditionally underserved
communities in both rural and urban settings, providing "the next step" as participant’s
transition out of age-, experience- or geographically-based programs.
