“Over there” so when people ask you where you’re going they get
confused
 should have a vote to decide the name
 “name the center” contest with voting would be better
KCC is known for the Wayfinders
1
The reason why because it’s sound more inviting.

ABC center- Academic, Brave (?), COOPERATION
3C center- cooperation, creative, curious
the invisible hand- when the instructor ask you “ how are you
getting good grades” or who is giving a hand in your studies,
because you are so smart”
Eden ,, cuz sounds like freedom cozy Near library
It should be named after a dedicated KCC educator who has
dedicated there career to making KCC at great learning institution.
a treehouse is built by people who wanted others to bond with each
other
The "IT" place to be. also could be because it has information tech,
or informal tutoring, or interesting art can make a play on the
letters "IT".
Decorate with all-things voyaging...Hawaiian/Polynesian voyaging,
Captain Cook, NASA, etc.
a good place to just kick back
a chill room to relax in after a long class period and day
it sounds refreshing
it would be a cool name for a hangout place
Kapiolani Interscholastic Center for Students

It’s a good idea, and I think KCC should continue with the
idea.
It would be a great idea to have a place like this on campus.
center will help connect students with each other, also giving
students a place to relax escape from stress.
nice to hear that you are trying to improve on things.
I hope this happens soon !
Excited for it!
KCC professors and advisors helped me to survive living in
foreign country
My experience has been a great one here on campus as well
as for online classes.
I enjoy the atmosphere.
I hope many students will take advantage of the new center
when its up and running.
I think the center is perfect as is.
I hope this center is able to follow through! It seems like it'd
be a great idea.
looking FORWARD TO SEEING THE DEVELOPMENT
OS SUCCESS CENTER.
Glad there's something in planning!
I believe this is a good move in the right direction.
I like that you are looking for better ways to help support
new students.
It would be great to have a place students can meet each
other besides the library , and also students a place students
can find other students to study with .
i think its a great idea that there is a survey and questions to
make KCC a better college and to get great experience.
i appreciate the thought and care for our students that went
into this idea and seeing it turn into reality.
would be nice if Hawaiian elements incorporated
Tea is always a nice thing to have.
Please open it BEFORE I leave KCC. I will be here at least

another 2 years.
I hope they really consider this center.
Before creating something new, try to fix the problems at
hand... Main one is internet. Then work on food, once those
two are done, build the center
It would be nice using recycling materials for tables, chairs
or any type of decoration.
It would be nice to have a space to expose pictures and
painting from our own students from Art classes.
Have students design the center
I hope the center will be well maintained in term of public
hygiene
Make sure the center actually helps us pass classes and
graduate
Make it happen!
Different exterior color scheme.
Subway need to move to another building so they will have
plenty space to serve student and low their prize.
Have students "Design Think" the new Service Center just
like Iolani's Innovation Center. Memorialize the students
who help design the center with plaques/pictures inside the
center.
It would make more sense to use the money earmarked for
this project to expand the library (the physical building and
the services provided) to house tutoring services and
academic coaching than to go through the hassle and expense
of creating an entirely new building and program.
I think it needs to be a setting for college students so kind of
a cafe setting so its relaxing as well.
It would be cool to have a stage for students who want to
maybe share their talents (performing talents) .
Find a really good designer to decorate the place, otherwise
people won’t want to go. college kids judge books by their
covers
This campus should recognize athletics, homeless students
and the quality of food served in the cafeteria.
The building should have a unique design and structure and
have sky windows
I hope the center give everyone at a wide range help.
high-volume times of the day/week of students, external
events such as local/world news.
customer service at KISC needs to be improved.
Needs to have friendly, intelligent, "wise," people for this to
be successful.
need tutoring, tutoring, tutoring.

recruit staff who are genuinely caring about students and
their future.
Peer mentors and student assistant workers should be
involve.
professional & academic seminars should be offered
Have the tutors be more happy
I sometimes get lost about my future. I need to talk to
someone.
What you really need is people with passion for students that
want to see them succeed.
Have somebody work at the center with great friendly and
willing to help attitude.
It would be nice to have teachers there.
I hope to see motivated, engaged and well cultivated staff
with aloha spirit.
Awesome teacher very helpful
booth tables for students privacy while studying by
themselves or with friends.
More computers would be nice
It should have tables, and a microwave at the very least.
The AC shouldn't be to cold like the cafeteria
Lots of windows for maximum natural light.
Affordable coffee and nutritional food should be available as
well as copying and faxing.
leave a class rooms open to use the projector to practice
presentations
Please clean up and add some lights to the bus stops.
I'd also prefer it to be air conditioned.
free printing.
Maybe a new site linked to myuh and laulima made by the
student helpers that work in the center.
I would love to go there every day if the wifi was best there
and they had sandwiches + ice cream.
The thing that would be MOST beneficial to me is a lab
where i can practice computer repair, troubleshooting, and
networking..
Make the center available on weekends.
keeping the facility open 24 hours would be the biggest
thing.
Hours of the location is important
I would make something about it more appealing than other
places. In my case the hours.
it would be great if this center were open hours that the
library is not.

The staff at KCC when compared to UH Manoa and HCC
aren't that helpful or informative
Lack of respect from staff and support.
Don't waste my money--spend it on what works
I feel that this school is not focused enough on helping
students.
we do not have enough advisers.
Having indoor space as well as an outdoor tent space
big enough to accommodate at least half the student
population
this place needs to be roomy and comfortable
When is this expected to be built or taken into consideration?
Can you make this happen while Im still here?
I would like to know how late the center would be open.
