Going to Mexico

“Vrrrrrum!” We can hear the plane engines roaring as we boarded the plane. The captain went on to the inter com and told us to buckle our seat belts and sit back and relax and enjoy the flight. We started moving backwards and then off we went up wards towards the sky. The captain said when we were in the air that it would be a 3 and a half hour to a 5 hour flight and the flight attendant brought out all of these snacks. When we got off in the Mexico air port it was small and in the middle of nowhere and it was really hot. There were cactuses and palm trees everywhere. From the air port to the house was about 15-20 min. away, and when we got to the house everybody raced inside to call our beds. I stayed back and just stopped and stared in amazement.

When we woke up the next morning we all got dressed and headed to the tennis courts. As soon as we got to the courts the tennis pro Steve told us that it was first come first serve. He also said that you can have private lessons and play on the courts for as long as you want to. And when we had the drills they are awesome. Later we would finish up the lessons with a long game of king of the court.

Also, when we were playing I noticed that there were no dead spots, no paint fading or any cracks.

When the tennis lessons were over we would always go to the snack shack. The person that worked there said that we could come whenever we wanted to. She declared that it was open all the time. They had all of the types of drinks like Coke products and Pepsi products and also just plain old water. Lastly, they have the biggest selection of snacks, like ice cream, frozen grapes or frozen dipped bananas, and lastly all types of candy that you could ever imagine.

Also, at the tennis courts were some cool laces to play games. For example, we would play family basket ball games. When the adults where playing tennis we would play soccer or volley ball with the cousins. When I was bored, I would play shuffle board with my cousin Russell. Lastly, they had a play ground with shade, so whenever we were really hot we would go over to the play ground and rest in the shade and swing in the swing, or slide down the slide.

After all of the tennis lessons that week, the next day we woke and sadly, the day had come when we needed to leave we had stayed up all night packing and saying our goodbyes. The next morning, we woke up and packed up all of our remaining stuff and made a big lap around the house to see if we had left anything. We hopped into the car and drove off. When I got onto the plane and took off. I looked out the window and said “that was the best vacation ever  ”
