Source and nature of management provided Accommodation Sales Co-ordinator Staff management responsibility None Special conditions This role will involve working shifts on a 5 out of 7 days rota Main duties and responsibilities Taking telephone calls, and actively selling university guest accommodation, inputting of bookings using the hotel management system. Ensure that both the Sales Team Leader and Accommodation Sales Coordinator are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments Managing email enquiries through Request Tracker ensuring that all enquiries are responded to within 24 hours. Manage the available bedstock to ensure that sales are maximised at all times. To receive and process payments, including till operation, cashing up and reconciliation following departmental financial procedures. Provide information for student requests in term time Liaise with Operations Team and the Estates Department to resolve emergency maintenance faults and guest complaints. Manage the weekly key checks and control and security of keys for East Accommodation rooms. Main duties and responsibilities Control the security of signing out departmental Master Keys to staff and contractors during your shifts Liaise with Security re handover of late arrivals for accommodation and the provision of empty rooms (when available) for selling after the EAC closes. To control the key allocation for conferences and groups and individuals ensuring that all have a positive experience on their arrival at the university. Carrying out general administrative tasks to assist the smooth running of the department Support student enquiries in term time From time to time you may be asked to assist in the facilitation of CPD activities. This will form part of your substantive role and you will not receive additional payment for these activities. You will from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager.
