A Business Letter
A business letter is a letter written in formal language, usually used
when writing from one business organisation to another, or for
correspondence between such organisations and their customers,
clients and other external parties.
Your letter must have:
o A letterhead – logo and all contact details e.g.
address, telephone, email and so on
o The date
o Name and address of recipient – no commas
o All left aligned – no indent

A business Card is a small card on which is printed, typically, a
person's name, job title, firm, business address, and telephone
number.
Your Business Card needs to inform
contacts who you are, you contact details,
position with in Downloadable Tunes and
the company "house style".

A memo is a document
sent within a company
(internal), usually a
shorter piece of writing
with specific content.
Unlike an essay, a memo
is geared towards
highlighting certain
aspects.
Your memo needs to tell the owner (your teacher) of
Downloadable Tunes that the changes that they
requested to the spreadsheet and database have been
completed.

A flyer is a single sheet of paper handed out or posted on a wall
to advertise or announce something
A poster is an advertisement for a product, service or event,
consisting of text and/or an image on a single piece of paper
A leaflet is a booklet to advertise something
You must create a flyer/poster or leaflet which will be sent
with the business letter to all customers. It must promote the
"buy one get one" offer

What you could include in your newsletter
•Text - such as the company history, special offers and music
reviews
•Images - choose at least two of the following:
• scanned images of Downloadable staff
• clipart images
• digital camera images of Downloadable staff
• the Downloadable Tunes logo
• Images from the Internet (must be copyright free
and sourced)
• Graphs (which you have created and could be
based upon information about the different
customer groups. E.g. age and towns)

with a template document of a letter, to produce multiple copies of
the letter, each personally addressed to a different recipient
