Many insects feed on the leaves and fruit of various plants. Insectivores – like Timon (the meerkat) and Pumba (the warthog) – feed on the insects. Rainforest carnivores, like the jaguar, eat meerkats and warthogs. Timon and Pumba are a unique pair together. Pumba repels away predators, and Timon knows the best places to find juicy insects. The two of them work together and live in the jungle. Mosquitoes live in all locations of The Lion King. Mosquitoes fly around and attach on to other organisms.
