About us
Edulink established the Edulink International College in 2014. The college offers state-of-the-art
facilities for 1,500 students, including library, IT laboratories, wifi across the entire campus and
a cafeteria. The Edulink International College provides scholarships to talented students from
its host country. Edulink group has been involved in higher education for over ten years and
provides transfer programmes for an American and British Degree after two years.
Edulink is the APTECH center of excellence in Kenya which has trained over 7million people
worldwide. Edulink International College Nairobi will deliver a range of software development
courses (ACCP) and the Multimedia courses (ARENA).
Edulink together with Middlesex University London established Middlesex University Dubai in
2005. Growth at Middlesex University Dubai has been rapid from the original 28 students, to
the 2,800 now studying foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Edulink established Victoria Higher Education Campus (VHEC) in Colombo in 2013. VHEC is a
franchise campus of the University of Greenwich, UK offering internal Greenwich honours
degrees at bachelor and master degree levels. VHEC currently delivers undergraduate, top-up
undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
The Programmes
Edulink International College Nairobi has linked with ACD-ULS partnership, by using the blended
learning model to deliver the first two years of the American Degree. Thereafter, students will
be able to transfer their credits to a partner institution in the USA, Canada or UAE.
University Transfer Program
Students will have the option to pursue the final 2 years of their Undergraduate Course or
Degree program by transferring their 60 credits to any of the partner universities in USA,
Canada, UK or UAE and also to universities in other countries where ACD has articulation
arrangements.
The transfer programme has facilitated over 3000 students to various partner universities in the
US and Canada since its inception. To transfer to the partner universities in the US, Canada or
UK, students should have met the requisite entry qualification criteria in addition to completing
60 credits with a GPA of 3.0 or more.

Edulink International College with ACD will facilitate student admissions to the partner
universities. In previous years students have progressed to over 75 different institutions
worldwide. (see page 29).

American College of Dubai (ACD)-ULS students can save over $ 50,000 on overall
cost of study in a US University.
 The average cost of education in the US, Canada or UK is approximately $ 20,000 a
year and the cost of living could be up to $ 15,000 a year. This takes the total cost of
education a year to $ 35,000
 American College of Dubai (ACD)-ULS students will spend $ 6,000 to $ 7,500 on the
total cost for a year and save over $25,000 year. ($50,000 over 2 years in most
cases)
 American College of Dubai (ACD)-ULS students will also enjoy special tuition fees
from all our partner universities.

How It Works
Select your Degree path and courses


Edulink International College offers flexible degree paths, leading to a Bachelors Degree
in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelors in Liberal Arts, Bachelors in Information
Technology and Engineering (BE) and Bachelors in Life Sciences.
Edulink International College program advisors will guide you with the section of courses
most appropriate to your selected path.
Study at EIC and Select your University abroad


Once you have chosen your Degree path, complete the required courses towards your
Degree Program.
Our Program advisors will guide you with the selection of your preferred university and
secure you a pre-approval from the University of your choice or provide you with an
alternate choice.
Transfer Credits and Study Abroad

Once you have completed your studies with EIC and fulfilled the academic requirements
of the International University of your choice, we will transfer your credits to the
University.
Complete your remaining studies at the University campus overseas and graduate in
your chosen field of study.

Note: If the applicant does not have the required TOEFL or IELTS score, they will be given an

Program Admission Test (PAT)
All applicants must demonstrate a proficiency in English and Mathematics necessary for
achieving their academic objectives. This is determined by Program Admission Test (PAT) in
English and Mathematics prior to admission. Students with required SAT scores will be
exempted.

employment sectors. In today’s global market companies are demanding managers with an
international outlook and cross-cultural experience. Employers demand quality qualifications
from recognized institutions and are looking to recruit graduates with this qualification. Your
Bachelor of Business Administration degree will maximize your employability in this expanding
market.
The Bachelor of Business Administration is gained by 4 years of full-time study. During the first
2 years you will build a strong foundation in core business knowledge, gaining an understanding
of the functional areas of a company and their interconnections. Being successful and flexible in
business demands a wide range of skills and knowledge and so you will also build credits in a
number of areas of General Education. By the end of the second year you will have improved
your verbal and written communication skills and gained the capacity to perform successful
independent study. In the 3rd and 4th Years you will begin to specialize in one or more areas of
different business functions. These are equivalent to a major and will be the areas in which you
would most like to develop and deepen your knowledge and expertise.
Throughout the Programme you will have training and practical experience in the form of case
studies, projects and presentations. Most universities will incorporate internships with local
companies during your study. This will enhance your practical managerial experience and
develop your business decision-making capability thereby maximizing your employability.

Bachelor of Liberal Arts
If you have not finalized your career choice and wish to gain a broader understanding of
a range of subjects at undergraduate level, then a Liberal Arts Bachelors
Degree is right for you. In this increasingly globalized and fast-changing world,
employers are seeking individuals with a range of transferable skills who can readily
adapt to an evolving workplace. A liberal arts degree will equip you for a career in many
areas by allowing you to gain a range of intellectual capabilities: expanding your general
knowledge, teaching you to analyze and think critically and enabling you to have
creative, independent thought. You will gain the ability to apply your knowledge to new
situations. This range of skills provides the ideal platform for maximum flexibility in
today’s job marketplace in which it is common to move frequently between employment
areas.

If you love mathematics and science and would like to integrate these subjects into your career
then a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Engineering is a good choice. There is a
global shortage of Information Technology and Engineering graduates and internationally and
this market will continue to be a growth area for the foreseeable future. Information
Technology and Engineering are high prestige careers and due to their challenging nature
produce equally high rewards. Graduates have some of the highest rates of employment and
often have accelerated career progression. In the future you also have the opportunity to

While most engineering degrees require 4 years of study there is also a path to a more

Your degree programme will be customised to include a greater proportion of

ULS-ACD program will enable you to transfer up to 45 credits towards your degree in
Engineering.
Bachelor of Science
Were you naturally drawn to science at school? Would you like to understand more
about biotechnology, pharmacology or physiology? Perhaps you were good at the pure
sciences of chemistry or physics? In all of these cases you should consider a Bachelor
of Science degree. This degree will open the door to a vast array of careers. A Bachelor
of Science degree leads to many opportunities to _nd a meaningful, rewarding
and lucrative career in science or outside science. As a scientist you will learn how to
perform research, interrogate scienti_c literature, collect and analyse data and to
write concise and accurate reports. It teaches you how to solve problems using logic
and scienti_c methods, skills that are highly valued by many of today’s top employers.
