KEY STRENGTHS





Teaching and Instruction – a background in teaching and instruction to varied age groups and in
various settings have provided me with much confidence in my pedagogical abilities. I have taught
physical education, math, science, social studies, art, health, drama, and outdoor education in the K-9
setting. In addition, I have coached younger children in gymnastics and worked closely with children
suffering from various developmental disabilities.
Learning – as my strong educational and practicum background displays I am an enthusiastic learner. I
am passionate about sharing my knowledge and relish in acquiring new knowledge to improve my
understanding of the curriculum I am teaching. Furthermore, I enjoy the challenges involved in the
teaching profession and am committed to life-long learning and continuing personal professional
development.
Interpersonal Communication -- developed through positive relationships with colleagues, students,
and the parenting community during teaching experiences.
Teamwork -- collaborative planning and teaching with teachers at St. Bede school; co-planned long
range and daily plans, religious liturgies, and social events.
Time Management -- demonstrated through the implementation of various daily lessons and activities,
in and out of the classroom setting, during previous teaching experiences.
