Article B.6.2 Transitional provisions
These Regulations replace all earlier versions. Notwithstanding the current Teaching and Examination
Regulations, the following transitional provisions apply for students who started the programme under
a previous set of Teaching and Examination Regulations:
For students who started their master programme before 1 September 2015, the following applies:
As of 1 September 2015, the master Human Geography is divided in four tracks: Urban Geography,
Economic Geography, Environmental Geography and Political Geography. Students who started the
previous academic curriculum are offered a transitional programme based upon to the programme
components of 2014-2015. The transitional programme is valid for the academic year 2015-2016.

Electives
The student have to choose a study load of 18 ECTS.
- Students who still require 18 ECTS, need to complete one full Track Core Course and 50% of
another Track Core Course (to be determined by the course coordinator)
- Students who still require 12 ECTS, need to complete one full Track Core Course*
- Students who still require 6 ECTS, need to complete 50% of one Track Core Courses
(to be determined by the course coordinator)*
* In these cases students are not allowed to select the course unit from column A, if they have already
successfully completed the equivalent course in column D:
