Summary
Maxwell was a giant to everyone else and often everyone was afraid
of him because of his size and his father, which he looked much
like. Kevin was a prodigy with health conditions that made his a tiny
boy. When Kevin moved to the house beside Maxwell’s they met
and instantly had a connection. When they went to the Fourth of
July parade, Kevin climbed on top of Maxwell’ shoulders and
together they made Freak the Mighty.

Freak the Mighty were a team and often went on adventures
together where they fought in the medieval times. They slayed
dragons, saved maidens, and helped those in need. On one of their
adventures, they found a mysterious purse in the sewer that
belonged to a woman named Loretta Lee, who knew Killer Kane.
They met her and her husband, Iggy Lee, in their apartment and
found out about Maxwell’s father. After this, they continued on their
journeys until Kevin had to complete one by himself. Maxwell had
been captured by his father and they were at Iggy and Loretta’s
apartment. Kevin, bravely, successfully saved Maxwell and Killer
Kane was put back in prison. But, disaster strikes at Kevin’ birthday
party when he has a seizure and is taken to the hospital. There, in
the hospital, is where he takes his last breath. After this, Maxwell
has to fight his battles himself.
