• YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CREATE A MAP OF THE CLASSROOM.
• YOU WILL NEED TO INCLUDE ALL ELEMENTS OF A MAP, INCLUDING SCALE.
• SUGGESTION FOR SCALE: ½ INCH = 1 TILE (15 TILES X 20 TILES)
• USE SYMBOLS AND A LEGEND TO REPRESENT ITEMS IN THE ROOMS SUCH AS THE DESKS
AND CABINETS.
• CREATE THE EQUATOR AND PRIME MERIDIAN (THROUGH THE CENTER OF THE ROOM) AND
MAKE LINES OF LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE GOING NORTH AND SOUTH (ABOVE AND
BELOW YOUR EQUATOR)
• ADD 3 LETTERS OF YOUR CHOICE ON YOUR MAP AND GIVE THE PROPER LATITUDE AND
LONGITUDE COORDINATES OF THE LETTERS. REMEMBER TO LABEL CORRECTLY.
