Balaji Rubber Industries, Salem, as a Quality Engineer in Q & A department from Jan 27
2014 . As a QC engineer, every batch of reclaim material is monitored as even minor change in raw
material input would have an impact on the critical parameters of the final product.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
United Rubber Industries India Pvt Ltd, Mumbai as a trainee engineer, R & D from Sep 20th
2013 to Jan 12th 2014. As a trainee engineer, I was involved in the development of prototype hoses
as per customer specification and also in compounding of the rubber materials.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
 Passed out M.TECH- Rubber Technology, in Anna University- MIT campus with a CGPA
of 8.2, in the year 2013.
 Passed out B.E Mechanical Engineering from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and
Technology with a CGPA of 7.78 in the year 2011.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS
 Final year project (PG)
Title: Studies on EPDM reclaim vulcanizates containing fly ash.
Description: The objective of the project is to make an engineering material out of
reclaimed EPDM rubber and fly ash.
The above project work was presented at International Conference on Rubber and Rubber
like Materials (ICRRM) 2013,held at IIT Kharagpur.
 Final year project (UG)
Title: Design and fabrication of squeeze casting setup and experimental analysis of hollow
casting.
Description: The objective of the project was to find if it is possible to make components
with intricate profiles using squeeze casting process and to experimentally find the best parameter.

In plant Training (UG)
Underwent training at Maruti Suzuki Training Centre, Coimbatore on MPFI technology for
ten days as part B.E curriculum.
