You need to have a solid sense of the timeline of events as well. Review your Dialogic Journals to help you with this. Part Four – Quotations Be able to identify the speaker of specific quotes from the play based on the context and content of the quote itself. Look for anything in the quote that reveals something about the character who speaks it. It would be helpful to study the Dialogic Journals for this as well. Quote selection will be based on the importance of the quote, therefore most quotes should be familiar from class discussions.
