It covers all nine project management knowledge areas – project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communication, risk and procurement management – and all five process groups – initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing from the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Microsoft Project will be used in the labs to reinforce lecture materials. Evaluation Comments: Assignments & Project 30% May include lab or take home work. Teams of students will develop a project. Two Quizzes (7.5% each) 15% The short quizzes will be given during a portion of the regular lecture time. Midterm Exam 20% The midterm exam will be given during a regular lecture period. Final Exam 35% The final exam will be held during exam week. The final exam will cover all material taught in the course.
