1. (15 points) Prove that the sum of interior angles of a triangle is 𝟏𝟖𝟎𝒐 .

numbers of the two facing pages was 7007. Without performing any calculations,
prove that he was wrong.
3. (20 points) Every day a commuter takes a train that arrives at her home station at
6:00 p.m. Every day her husband drives to the station to pick her up, always driving
the same route at the same speed. One day the commuter gets off work early, takes
an earlier train home, and arrives at her station at 5:00 p.m. Instead of waiting at the
station for her husband, who left home at his usual time, she begins walking home.
She meets her husband driving along his route, gets in the car, and they drive
home. They arrive home 20 minutes earlier than usual. How long had the commuter
been walking?
