In 1999 two young computer students, Tom Harrison Jr. and Robert Walker III, created a
small IT company called “The Geek Squad”. Today this company is an International
company with 5,000 customers in the United States, South America, and Europe. Your

Today, by staying true to our vision of top quality customer service, coupled with
innovative and rapid solutions for technical malfunctions has made The Geek Squad a
main solutions provider today.

2005 Boom Award
Each year the local Chamber of Commerce selects one chamber member to recognize
their active community rolls through volunteerism and Chamber Activities. The award is
local and is awarded to a small to mid-range businesses that is an active participant in
community events.
Hot Spot Project
On the local government web site, in the IT section of high tech wireless growth, The
Geek Squad is listed as a local upcoming and emerging company in the development and
support of IT solutions.
The Fast 50 Award
The Fast 50 is an award given to the 50 fastest-growing companies in the region. To be
eligible, the companies must be independent, for-profit and privately held; have an
average of at least $1 million in revenue for the three most recent y ears; and be based in
the region. The Geek Squad was 15 th on the list in 2005.
Government
The Geek Squad has been providing IT products and services to the government sector
since its onset in 1999. We have the expertise in providing products and services from
the normal to the very specialized to the federal, state and local levels of the government.
Our government support team has the skills and resources to meet the needs of the public
sector. Additionally we offer on-site warranty and “hot spot” repairs.
