investment and information services that supports the needs of
small businesses, middle market companies, large corporations,
governments, municipalities, financial institutions and institutional
investors.

Citi Global Transaction Services (GTS)
• The Global Transaction Services (GTS) summer analyst program at Citi
spans ten weeks.
• You will be placed on an assignment within one of the four GTS business
areas located in New York: Global Cash Management, Global Trade
Services, or Securities and Fund Services.
• The type of project and deliverable vary for each analyst according to
placement and business need.

• Deutsche Bank Corporate & Investment Bank: Transaction Banking
(CIB:TB)
• The Deutsche Bank CIB:TB program is an 8 – 10 week long program in
which you will work with a full range of products and services. You’ll also
meet with corporate clients and financial institutions to achieve solutions
for them.
• The Transaction Banking main business units will offer numerous
opportunities during your internship. Within Cash Management, you’ll
help to consolidate cash flows and short-term investments. In Trade
Finance, you’ll experience our ‘one-stop shop’ for trade finance and risk
advisory products. With Trust & Security Services you’ll help to administer
the closure of securities transactions.

J. P. Morgan  Treasury & Securities Services (TSS)
• The Treasury & Securities Services (TSS) Summer Analyst Program is a tenweek, accelerated, intensive program that offers work assignments
interspersed with training sessions, networking events and scheduled
opportunities to meet with senior leaders.
• Summer Analysts are typically placed into one of the following groups:
Product, Segment, Strategy, Sales or Risk. Additional business areas
where analysts may participate include Client Service, Operations,
Technology, and Marketing.

What does an intern do?
• Analysts within Transaction Services have:
– helped to provide analyses of the market, risk and regulatory
impacts of the credit crunch, and created solutions designed to
mitigate clients' exposure to the credit markets
– performed myriad financial and strategic analyses such as industry
"deep dives" to understand clients’ products and services needs and
how they buy them
– focused on identifying the global markets and client segments in
which to build or expand by conducting in depth market sizing
– researched client segments and known client buying behaviors in
order to prioritize sales opportunities
– partnered with corporate operational risk, product risk, and
compliance to provide a comprehensive view of the risk control
environment

Requirements
• Interns must possess the following skills and attributes to have a
successful summer and career in Transaction Services:
– Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
– Confidence, creative thinking and strong problem solving skills
– Ability to work in teams
– Preferred majors include: finance, accounting, economics,
engineering, operations research or business management and
administration.
– This program is primarily open to juniors only. Seniors who will have
one semester to complete at the time of the internship may be
considered. Graduating seniors are not eligible for this program.
– Students with F-1 visas or CPT/OPT work authorization are NOT
eligible for the Transaction Services program.
– Internships are located in New York.

• Interns must possess the following skills and attributes
to have a successful summer and career in Transaction
Services:
– Attention to detail and strong work ethic
– Quick learner and ability to communicate
effectively (strong presentation skills are KEY)
– Solid understanding of accounting principles
– Solid quantitative, analytical and technical skills
– Familiarity with Microsoft Office (esp. Excel and
PowerPoint)
– Strong understanding of financial industry
