A story from the life of each individual is presented in two formats – an adult “read aloud” and a Lexiled student reading. Lesson plans specific to each great American highlights economic and personal finance concepts from the life of that person. Economic Decision Making and the U.S. Civil Rights Movement A one-day workshop for fifth grade teachers Hosted at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum, this workshop will focus on the economics of the Civil Rights movement during the 1950’s, 1960’s, and 1970’s.
