Colour and excitement

But why is this called
Cazfest and why is the key
colour pink?
Cazfest was established in 2009 in memory of
Caroline Johnstone (Caz). Pink was Caroline's
favourite colour. Caroline was a 17 year old
student of The Bishop's Stortford High School
studying for her “A” levels who had hoped to go to
Newcastle University to study English Language.
On June 6th 2008, while with friends at a night club,
she collapsed and despite the prompt attendance
of the medical
services
was never able to

Your Cazfest Project
For the next month…
Projects for you to work on in the next month in groups ...choose ONE...
1. Create a 90 second trailer about Cazfest. The best will be played on the
day.
2. Design a beautiful poster or piece of art for Cazfest to display around your
School.
3. Create your own Cazfest website or power point or year assembly for
students at your School.
4. Write an appropriate, moving and respectful poem about Cazfest. The
best will feature on the website. Keep in mind that this is a fun day but for a
serious and moving cause.
5. Plan a Cazfest charity idea for your School. This could be something as
simple as a pink cake stall or a wear it pink day. Please take pictures and
keep the Cazfest Team informed.
