JOB TITLE: Senior BI Analyst JOB PURPOSE: Working as a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Cherry Group you will have the opportunity to work on different projects and tasks that reach across the entire organization. In a fast moving environment, you will be responsible for proactively collecting and analysing internal and external data in order to draw conclusions to enable a detailed understanding of the end users behaviour as well as the gaming market in general. REPORTING TO: Head of Marketing BASED: Sliema, Malta Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Work closely with both internal and B2B partners’ finance departments assisting with analytics on reporting and business understanding Obtain an in-depth understanding of the gaming industry, the players and the games through study of both internal and external data in order to develop robust analytics solutions (i.e.: predictive models, LTV, propensity models) Develop new metrics and indicators to enhance aspects of player behaviour such as player segmentation, profitability, attrition and lifecycle analysis using insight from data mining and web analytics Draw conclusions from analysis and present to stakeholders with the purpose of providing a better understanding of the end user behaviour Pro-actively and continuously monitor competitors and market development to seek, obtain and read market analysis information Assist in the enhancement of the in-house data warehouse Document findings in written reports and present to stakeholders Knowledge/skills /experience: Hold an academic degree within in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, natural sciences or operations research Experience in dealing with large and complex data sets, data models, data mining and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS , COGNOS or SPSS Comfortable working in a fast paced environment whilst interacting with a variety of different disciplines Proven ability to dig through data, identify critical information, analyse, draw conclusions, make recommendations and deliver action plans Ability to work autonomously Good communication skills Person specification: Strong work ethic Positive ‘can do’ attitude Excellent attention to detail Produce accurate work consistently Proactive Strong problem solving skills Flexible to business demands Good presentation skills Fluent in English Desirable: Experience from the iGaming industry is preferred Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Cherry’s business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time.
