Trainers and Consultants Positions with EDI

Description:
Enterprise Development Institute(EDI) is a locally registered NGO formed by national and
international professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise in the fields of
institutional and organizational development, sustainable development, natural resources
and environmental management, agricultural and economic development, social enterprise
development and capacity building for CSOs and NGOs in Cambodia.
EDI is looking for practical trainers (2 positions) and researchers (2 positions) and
Consulting Program Director (1 position) to provide services to local and international CSOs
and NGOs. These positions will be home based work in Phnom Penh with travel to
provinces as required by the projects.
1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TRAINERS
 Design and deliver training services to local communities, agricultural cooperatives
and other local entrepreneur groups based on needs
 Conduct monthly workplan for training deliveries and reporting of progress
 Conduct training needs assessment, organizational diagnosis or organizational
capacity assessment with existing or potential partners organizations
 Represents EDI for marketing and negotiating with partners for collaboration and
partnership
 Working with Consulting Program Director to prepare/develop longer term project
and implementation with identified partners
 Ensure smooth cooperation with and be accountable for wider stakeholders
Skill Requirement:
 At least bachelor degree in social science, business administration, agriculture,
accounting or related field of study
 At least 3 years of experience on training services provided to CSOs or NGOs or
companies in relation to business development, entrepreneurship development,
business planning, book keeping and micro finance management courses.
 Good in computer MS. Office skill, Accounting software like QuickBooks, Peachtree
 Honest, ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a diverse
cultural team members and EDI stakeholders
 Have IT skills, using social media effectively would be most advantageous
 Cambodian nationals only
 Good verbal and written English skills
2. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CONSULTANTS
 Design methodologies for social economic research, impact assessment, program or
project evaluation, baseline survey and market value chain analysis
 Conduct monthly workplan for consulting service and reporting of progresses
 Conduct initial meeting, organizational diagnostic or organizational capacity
assessment with existing or potential partners organizations



Represents EDI for marketing and negotiating with partners for collaboration and
partnership
Working with Consulting Program Director to prepare/develop longer-term project
and implementation with those identified partners
Make sure smooth cooperation with and accountable for wider stakeholders
Skill Requirement:
 At least Masters degree in social science, business administration, agriculture,
community development, international development or related field of studies
 At least 5 years of experience on research, assessment, and participatory tools such
as PRA, RRA, Force Field analysis etc provided to CSOs or NGOs or companies in
relation to strategic plan development, impact assessment, baseline survey etc.,
 Have skill in SPSS and other analyzing tools would be most advantageous
 Have good communication, facilitation and reporting writing skills (ICT)
 Good verbal and written English skill
 Could be national and international
3. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CONSULTING PROGRAM DIRECTOR
 Manage/direct consulting service program area by working with diverse consultants
(nationals and internationals) to deliver results for EDI’s clients.
 Prepare project documents or proposal for bidding the contract services from CSOs,
NGOs and Companies that fitted to EDI core program competencies.
 Design methodologies for social economic research, impact assessment, program or
project evaluation, baseline survey and market value chain analysis
 Working with national and international consultants to conduct monthly workplan for
consulting service and reporting of progresses

assessment with existing or potential partners organizations
