Warm-up: Students will conjugate reflexive
verbs in present tense.

extracurricular
activities offered
by schools. .
Guided Practice #1: teacher will explain how to
conjugate saber/conocer verbs in present tense.
Students will learn when to use either saber or
conocer in a sentence.
I can name the
objects and
furniture in a
classroom.
Closing: students will match saber and conocer
with sentences that explain when to use either
verb. .
Wednesday/thursday 10/8-10/9/2014
I can use
expressions
related to
classroom rules
and procedures.
Warm-up: Students will write two sentences
using saber and conocer verbs.
Guided practice: teacher will read a story in
Spanish while students take notes in English
telling what the story is about (comprehension).
Guided practice #2: A student will read the
previous story in Spanish to his/her classmates.
Classmates have to write the story in spanish.
(dictado saber/conocer)
Teacher will introduce a saber/conocer project
(video)
Closing Activity. A photocopy of the story is
going to be handed to the students. Students
will correct their spelling mistakes.
Friday 10/ 10/ 2014
Warm-up: students will work on present tense
conjugations learned the first six weeks.
Guided practice: Students will work on saber and
conocer video.
Closing activity: a group will show the rest of the
class its video .
