Scenario:
Congratulations on the newest member of your family! As a proud parent you
choose to document all of your child’s big moments in a electronic scrapbook!
You include pictures and journal entries to document how your child changes
overtime. Your child means everything to you and your scrapbook reflects this
attitude through tone and style.
And of course, your journal details reflect your expertise in developmental
psychology, as shown by incorporating major theories of human development
including:
1. Erikson’s Stages of Social Development & Freud’s Stages
2. Kholberg’s Stages of Moral Reasoning Development
3. Piaget’s Stages of Cognitive (thinking) Development
4. Physical Changes (as indicated in growth chart provided)

3. COGNITIVE What appropriate learning activities was your preschooler
engaged in? Explain using Piaget’s stages.
4. PHYSICAL Write about how your baby has physically changed (height, weight,
color, etc). What can they do now, that they didn’t do last year?
5. PICTURES Your pictures should be action shots that illustrates changes
from toddler years to play age years. Tip: More pics, the merrier!
