Comment Faire Pour Conjuger le Passé Composé Avec Avoir
1. Conjugate avoir in the present tense according to the subject. This is your auxiliary or helper
verb.
2. Put the conjugated version of avoir before the past participle.
3. Find the past participle of the action verb.
4. To form the past participle of a regular verb
a. drop the –er of the –er verbs and replace with -é
b. drop the –r of the –ir verbs
c. drop the –re of the –re verbs and replace with -u
5. If it’s a verb with an irregular past participle, then memorize the irregular past participles.
6. In order to make a statement negative, you add the ne/n’ and pas around the conjugated avoir
7. To ask questions, using inversion, invert the subject pronoun, and the conjugated form of avoir
