Of Mice and Men Research Topics Similar to the research papers that were written for Animal Farm by George Orwell, each student will complete a miniature research paper on Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Requirements Each student should write an essay of less than two pages, following standard MLA format as we discussed in class. Your paper should include a works cited page that is to include at least two sources. For each sources that you provide in the works cited, you should have at least one direct quotation or paraphrase from that source. Be sure to proper cite all sources using in-text citations. If you use the words of others, either directly, or by rephrasing them into your own language, you must provide a citation – if you do not, it will be labeled as plagiarism, which will result in a zero on the paper and an Honor Code referral. Your paper will be due on Wednesday, September 26. You may submit your paper in class or electronically by 11:59 P.M. Grading Your paper will be graded using the same rubric as the previous research paper, which can be found online under the Of Mice and Men entry on Classroom Connections. Your paper will be worth 50 points. Research Topics The Great Depression Migrant Farm Workers (focusing on the 1930s) Franklin D.
