The greatest explorer to walk the face of this Earth Coronado was sailing with Antonio de Mendoza. He is also was the one who sent Coronado. They were in search of the Seven Cities of gold which were in the Western part of north America. His goal was to be a wealthy man like his parents. The men traveled on the magnificent boats called the Cinca, the Pinta, and the Sabretan. They went from Spain, across the Atlantic Ocean, to Mexico. They landed on the east coast of Mexico.
