American Colonists boycotted and it was repealed 1767- Townshend Act- taxed glass, paper, paint, and tea American Colonists signed agreements not to import British goods Back of Timeline March 5, 1770- Boston Massacre Fight between British Soldiers and American Colonists, British troops fire on Colonists and 5 Colonists are killed 1773- The Tea Act- Law that cut out the American Colonist merchants in the tea trade December 16, 1773- Boston Tea Party- Colonists dump dump British tea into Boston Harbor as a protest of the Tea Act. Back of Timeline 1774- Intolerable Acts- Laws that punish Mass.
