ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A College Diploma or University Degree, in a related health care discipline (as determined by the
College), or an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education
If you have earned the equivalent of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) from outside
Canada, you will be required to provide proof of one or more of the following:
•
Niagara College Mature Student Test for English
•
Grade 12 English at the C or U level (Ontario High School Curriculum)
•
ACE English (Academic Upgrading)
•
International Credential Assessment for studies outside of Canada
FUTURE STUDY OPTIONS
Some graduates go on to study other post graduate certificates at Niagara College such as Mental
Health. Those with a nursing background can go onto study Critical Care Nursing and Gerontology. In
addition graduates can study Niagara College’s General Arts and Science Local Certifecate.
