1) Explain the vocab. requirements (per each act)
a. As we start each act, you will get a vocab. list.
b. For at least 5 words for each act, you need to complete a vocabulary web—that
means by the end of the unit, you will have completed AT LEAST 25 vocabulary
webs. If you do more than 5 for an act(s), you can receive some extra credit on your
final portfolio.
c. You picked up, on your way into class today, a copy of what the vocabulary web
looks like. You won’t always get fresh copies of the vocabulary web—instead, just
draw them up on your own paper for each word that you do. THESE NEED TO GO
INTO YOUR FINAL PORTFOLIO.
d. Please do the vocab. webs in parallel with each act that we read. So that means you
do the vocab. work for act 1 while we are reading through act 1. You will need to
complete the vocab. work on your own time though.
