Students will build their profile which becomes their first resume, an e-portfolio, and webpage by
creating a vanity URL.

Step Two: Career Interest Inventory

Students complete their state-approved interest inventory (60 questions) which is John Holland’s
RIASEC Assessment, and the most popular career interest inventory in the world. You can learn
more about the assessment and its validity at http://www.onetcenter.org/dl_files/IP_RVS.pdf.

Students then research occupations and can like and dislike over 1200 occupations from the
Department of Labor. We added 950+ “Day in the Life” videos and links to programs of study
from area colleges that will help them qualify for the position(s).
