Worked successfully with Members of Congress to pass legislation to increase energy efficiency



and clean energy and simultaneously preventing legislation from passing that would endanger
public health and the environment
Developed an improved tracking system for $1 million PAC budget for contributions to federal
candidates, preventing costly FEC fines for non-compliance, streamlining internal processes for
contributions, and increasing transparency
Coordinated LCV’s annual lobby day for 20 state leagues leading to meetings with over 100
members of Congress and government agencies
Oversaw the budget, logistics, staff training and compliance for the LCV’s Eagles program that
placed 34 staff in 20 campaigns prior to Election Day, resulting in a 70% candidate success rate

Designed a pilot program for Nicaraguan bean farmers based on the Knowledge Management field
guide; the pilot created strategies for economic improvement, climate change adaptation, and socioorganizational development
