IEM began business in a barn on a family ranch in Fremont, CA. IEM grew
along with Silicon Valley, moving to a 12,000 sq ft facility in 1957, expanding
to 70,000 sq ft in 1980 and to 105,000 sq ft in 2003 with offices on the East
Coast and Canada.
IEM recently acquired Industrial Power Systems, Inc. (IPS) in Jacksonville,
FL. Together they represent an unparalleled solution to the most challenging
projects in the industry today.
