FoxPro and C# to run as complementary programs and as standalone software to fit customer’s

security by installing IDS (Cisco Netranger 4200 series) along with Cisco Pix firewall. Optimized
routing between peer sites of the intranet and the various traffic with in the local area network.
Setup and implemented, VPN (Cisco VPN concentrator 5000) services for remote users to
access intranet from outside the network. Installed and configured Cisco Works system for

NOC intranet web-site for the central storage of important information, which was used by
support personnel, and customers.

released to the NOC. Responsible for creating documentation for support, on new products
processes and procedures. Gave training classes and provided ongoing mentoring to the NOC,
before new products were released to them for lifecycle support. Updated the ticketing system
for proper information logging and, updated the NOC knowledge base.

Part of team responsible for troubleshooting problems on the extensive Qwest IP network and
backbone. Responsible for troubleshooting customer issues ranging from circuit issues to BGP
configuration problems. Worked with Cisco GSR and 7500 series routers, Juniper M20 and M40
routers along with Redback routers and a host of VPN devices. Supported connections ranging
in size from DSL and T1 to OC-48. Added and updated DNS zone files for Qwest customers
through a Unix command line interface. Verified, updated and corrected configurations on all
Qwest customer routers. Gave training classes to new hire employees. Developed the NOC
Toolbox, a web based Intranet site used as a source of information for the entire NOC and
Customer Support center. Developed a Juniper training lab, to give NOC support specialist
opportunity to develop hands on training/experience.
