MOVIE VS. BOOK COMPARISON LITERATURE EXTENSION For your next literature extension, you will have the opportunity to read a book that has been made into a movie. Your task will be to read the book first and take notes. I would expect at least 1-2 sentences per chapter summarizing the chapter. These notes should reflect your understanding of the plot and any important details that will help you to make your comparison when you watch the feature film. Your second task will include finding the movie and watching it to compare the two literary works. You may find that the book and movie are very similar and you may find the movie changed or added details that altered the story slightly. Remember the book was written first and the movie is based off the book so do not be surprised if they differ. This literature extension is due on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.
