1 Day Workshop on
“Financial Data Analysis”
Introduction: Management can be summarized as the process of making informed decisions
in three key areas: Investing, financing and operations. Professionals responsible for evaluating

statement analysis techniques, culminating in business valuation principles. Participants learn
how to compare companies financially, understand cash flows and grasp basic profitability and

Trainer/Facilitator: Dr. Ali Murad Syed is ‘Director, MBA Program’ at University of Central
Punjab (UCP), a PhD in Finance, from the University of Paris VIII, France. His extensive
experience of fifteen years in the field of research, teaching and the corporate training makes
him seasoned in imparting knowledge. His core training expertise in the field of finance has
evolved through his rigorous and continuous research of the subject and makes him aware of
all the latest developments and ever dynamic challenging environment at the financial world.
His corporate experience includes being a Project Manager at Amin Tariq Associates and Bader
H.Al-Hussani & Sons Co., Financial Consultant at National Management Foundation (LUMS),
Pakistan- which involved financing and feasibilities of different construction projects. He
worked as a Portfolio Manager at H.S.Z. Securities (Pvt.) Ltd, Pakistan, and a Finance Manager
at Shahzad Associates (Pvt.) Ltd, Pakistan. His professional skills include Asset Pricing Theory,
Special topics in Finance, Financial Institutions and Portfolio Management & Risk Analysis and
research was in the field of Corporate Governance and Financial Performance.
