Egyptian Pharaoh’s
PART I. RESEARCH
Certain Egyptian pharaoh’s have left their mark on history more than
others. Below is a list of four of those Pharaoh’s that you may choose
from. Pick ONE Pharaoh and answer the questions below in complete
sentences. Use the teacher guided links and any other website to assist
you with your research. You may type your answers directly on this
document underneath each question. If you don’t finish the research, it
will become tonight’s homework!

5. WHAT ARE 2 FACTS THAT YOU FIND FACINATING ABOUT THIS
PHARAOH?
Part II: POEMS
Using the information from your research, write a poem in ONE of the
following styles about your Pharaoh. Write your poem on the back of an
Egyptian Death Mask. This portion of the project is due at the end of the
period on Thursday! (1/5/11)
1.Pick up a death mask from the art table and cut it out.
2. On the back of the mask, title your poem with your Pharaoh’s name.
3. Write your poem in PEN!
4. Color the front of your death mask however you wish.
5. Don’t forget to put your name and period on the back too.

Acrostic Poem
Cinquain Poem
Rhyming Poem (Minimum of 6 lines!)
