It’s Your Responsibility
Everything we discuss today is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! Your advisor, the
SOE office, cannot do this for you. This is your program of study, your
career, your life. Make choices which demonstrate that you are the
aspiring professional we wish to complete our program! This meeting
has been announced via TVs on campus and flyers posted. I have had
countless numbers of students who are NOT present today because they
did not take the responsibility of paying attention to these important
announcements!
Simply “announcing” that you are not going to be present for class,
meeting, appointment or your Field Placements does NOT mean that it
is acceptable or an “excused” absence.
It may a good reason, BUT excused absences are
“requested” and arrangements should be made in advance.

More changes for ALL

other licensure candidates:

• A recommendation to implement this
requirement beginning on July 1, 2014 was
