My education goal is to first get my paralegal degree at Jones County Junior College. I
would then like to go to Mississippi College to get a degree in pre-law. The reason why I am
getting my paralegal degree first is because I know I will have to work my way through college
to help pay for it. I want to be able to accomplish all this so that I can be able to one day help
people out with legal matters or even put a criminal behind bars. I want to use my degree in a
good way not the way some lawyers do when they are only in it for the money. I was adopted by
my step-father when I was six years old. Without the attorney helping us through it I would have
never been able to get to call my father my dad. I would like to be able to one day maybe do the
same thing for another family. Also, I always have a heavy heart when I hear about someone
being killed. I want to be able to prosecute the guilty person but I must have enough evidence
that even I am convinced that the person is guilty. I do not want to live with a guilty conscious of
not even being one hundred percent sure that the person is guilty and ruin some one’s life by
having the wrong guy and a murder be on the loose still. I have thought about later on in life one
day maybe running for a position to represent the state of Mississippi up in Washington D.C. I
have always loved learning about the Constitution and other parts of our law. I have always
weighed heavy on my mind that we need to get back to the way the Founding Fathers intended
for us to be and I want to maybe one day be able to help the United States get back to our
Constitutional foundation but mold it into a form that fits our more modern technical times. I am
a very dedicated person and work very hard to accomplish all my goals that I set in life. I am
very dependable and if you were to help me achieve my goals in life I believe you would not be
disappointed and regret it. I have been very successful in high school and keep my grades up.
Any help I can get to achieve this goal in life would be greatly appreciated and even if it just
helps with books I would be greatly thankful for it. I really hope that you consider me for this
scholarship and see that I really want to make a difference in life. I may not be able to
accomplish everything but I want to try my hardest to be able and do everything I can and with
