Open Vice President of IT
Purpose: Provides technology leadership for the organization by recommending and implementing
technology solutions that facilitate the company’s ability to meet its strategic objectives and by managing
the effectiveness, safety, and availability of data, applications, and other business tools required for
employees to perform their duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:






Consult with organization to understand its strategic direction and to identify unmet needs and
opportunities for improvement where technology can play a role. Generate recommendations
including costs and ROI.
Manage data as a strategic asset by ensuring the integrity and availability of data for reporting,
accounting, and analysis; managing interfaces between systems both internally and between
OutsourceOne and outside sources/vendors; improving database structure and design to address
the growing sophistication of the organization and its customers; and enhancing the company s
ability to make data accessible to its customers and employees via reporting tools, web tools and
other means.
Direct the planning, design, development and implementation of key IT initiatives. Manage
resources, processes and project plans. Conduct vendor selection activities and facilitate
negotiations as required.
Ensure stability and reliability of technology infrastructure including, OutsourceOne’s website,
networks , telecommunications, databases and hardware. This includes ensuring that monitoring,
software upgrades updates, risk assessments and other necessary activities are routinely
conducted and documented and that fail over and contingency plans are in place.
Ensure that the following policies and procedures are in place and up to date: system security,
disaster recovery, business continuity and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.

Qualifications:



10 years progressive job experience in information technology role.
No less than 3 years management experience.
Experience in health care management strongly desired
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer sciences or information systems
Experience in Microsoft Systems:
MS-SQL Server 2005 +
Visual Studio – Primarily VB.NET and C#
IIS and MS OS 2008 and 2003
